November 2009 - So glad we finally got some photos for the photo gallery to sell. Hubby and I worked tirelessly in the midnight hours on the computer and I think I even dreamt that I was in Photoshop! What a way to wake up! However, we have some very nice images that hubby shot that are now available as a 16" x20" canvas or a 20" x 24" digital matte with the image size as 16" x 20" for prints. The art gallery is also underway with eight lovely paintings all ready for ordering to canvas. Again, our standard size is 16" x 20", but that doesn't mean you can't order a different size. You just need to contact us first. Next up on the list is our FAQs page and a cup of coffee!
October 2009 - After a lot of soul searching, restarting, struggling and lot of pain and sweat...True Focus© Group had to rethink its future going into 2010 with the Home Business Center project. The reality is that it was not demonstrating the kind of return on investment we were seeking and needed it to provide. So the project has been discontinued indefinitely to pave the way for us to return to our photography and art full time. Photography like design has been a part of us for many years, however with the economic downturn, photography is one of those industries most hit because it really doesn't lend itself to being a need as with some industries like health.
Not all photography is like that, but commercial photography such as: weddings and portraits can be done without the need for a professional photographer. Technology is growing to where consumers can learn the process although without the formal training. Pictures are adequate to get the job done and thus professional commercial photographers like ourselves took a huge blow and we had to quickly re-think how to stay in this industry. So, we've turned our sites over to selling stock photos, operating our Amazon camera store, adding new images and paintings for sale to our gallery, and converting photos to art for customers. It seems only fitting since we've been in this business for more than 16 years, we should share what we have learned. We built a photo digital products store for anyone interested in photography. This site is full of resources to help you out. Be sure to visit it and our endeavor is to quickly pick up this part of our company but also to enjoy the process. This truly is our VISION 2010, "returning to the basics!"
July 2009 - True Focus© Group enters social networking with a company page on Facebook and LinkedIn. Our campaign to build our fan base in underway and our page is updated frequently to expand the reach of our customer base and try to help more and more business owners successfully operate their companies.
True Focus© Group's VISION 2010 gets underway sometime in August. VISION 2010 is our one-day retreat motivational workshop discussing our dreams, vision, and goals for the remainder of 2009 and onto 2010 for the company. We'll discuss the economy's down market, staying in God's word in all our business dealings as well as map out more resources and techniques to share with our customers. We are planning for more technological advancements, streamlining enhancements as we attempt to take our company to the next level. We've never been happy with being complacent and though we've had to rebuild our company's divisions over again to meet the challenges of the current economy, we still feel there is growth and opportunity to not just survive but to thrive in the coming years.
June 2009 - True Focus© Group's design department has an excellent end of month deal offering clients website content management services for just $150 a month! It was a $50 a month savings!
May 2009 - True Focus© Group builds a protected gateway on their website for their clients when working on huge projects. This area allows TFG and their clients to share files that are too large to send via email. This is a significant technological breakthrough for the company which can now perform these tasks more easily than before. TFG has a list of processes that will be streamlined to increase product/service workflow. The 'Clients' website section was one of the first to-do items to be checked off their list.
April 2009 - True Focus© Group's Home Business Center is completed with its changes and social networking has been added to the mix to network with other business owners or individuals who need the products and services TFG offers. Twitter is the social network of choice for the company and TFG begins producing RSS Feeds to keep customers up to date with the company.
March 2009 - True Focus© Group revisits its motto and decides on the kinds of products and services to provide during the current recession. In an effort to accomplish this, a new website look is introduced, the Home Business Center gets a new makeover.
October 2008 - Major hit with the economic crisis and True Focus© Group has to reinvent the wheel and strategize in order to move forward. It may be a challenging feat to accomplish but TFG is confident that they will figure out what needs to be done in order to stay afloat and reach out to new clients.
May 2007 - True Focus© Group fully established now sets out to increase awareness and collaborates with several marketers to produce articles on advertising online successfully. TFG joined forces with Rob Bankston, The Method Reports, to use YouTube as a main source for our marketing.
January 2006 - True Focus© photography closes its doors forever and we focus on helping start-up businesses acquire products and services they need to succeed. We concentrated on marketing efforts, free and low-cost to help our clients drive the right traffic to their websites.
